As part of my Bachelorthesis I searched for production methods which allow to create serial products but with noticeable variations. Slight variations of
the angels of legs and back rest have a big impact on the character of a chair. The use of cast resin in a mould out of common plastic tape allows to connect the wooden components every
time differently.
The different angles can be controlled on purpose or be defined by the interaction of the resin and plastic tape.
Each way one creates a series of chairs and each has its very own character.
